YOUR BIGGEST INVESTMENT

What is most important to you? Put yet another way, what is your biggest investment?

If I asked most people, they would say their family, their children, their home, having a college fund or even their car. Of course, there is no right or wrong answer to this question. This is relative and subjective to each person.

I would argue the biggest investment you can make in life is getting to know yourself and investing in yourself. Become intimately familiar with what your good at, what you’re most passionate about, your likes/dislikes and what excites you. Everyone should ask themselves this question: “How much time do you spend daily, weekly or monthly strategically planning your life and perfecting your presentation and character?”

Matthew Kelly said it best,

“It constantly amazes me that men and women wander the earth marveling at the highest mountains, the deepest oceans, the whitest sands, the most exotic islands, the most intriguing birds of the air and fish of the sea- and all the time never stop to marvel at themselves and realize their infinite potential as human beings.”

When you need legal advice, you call an attorney. When you need help with your finances, you call a financial advisor. When you need help with your car, you call an auto mechanic. When you need some guidance to get your life straightened out, you call a therapist. When you are having marital issues, you call a marriage counselor. When you need help with your fitness and nutrition, you get a gym membership or hire a personal trainer. When you sell your house, you hire a realtor?

When you need help with your career, who do you call?

In today’s competitive job market, now more than ever it is important to work with a professional to give you an edge so you can stand out from the competition. Did you know, besides sleeping and the time it takes to fall asleep, the 2nd most human activity people spend doing throughout their lifetime is working.

Statistics show that career fulfillment and job satisfaction have a direct impact on one’s state of mind and feeling good about themselves. Feeling good about your job and your career will make you happier in your personal life and vice versa. We all know that people accomplish the most in life and are most successful when they feel good about themselves.

At The Mortgage Talent Network, we want you to live your best life, personally and professionally. They go hand in hand. Let us be your compass to provide you with the resources and confidence to reach new levels heights in your personal and professional career.
